Dear Don and all the Vonderhaar Staff,

After getting a little breath and settling in, we want to express our sincerest thanks for your catering services at our wedding at Music Hall.

From the moment we made initial contact with your firm, through the various complications regarding Vietnamese food, Chinese food and everything else, up to the very end and the actual event, your company was absolutely sterling in every aspect. With planning a bi-cultural wedding, we were somewhat hesitant of how it would all turn out, but Don was able to always reassure us that it would work out and even made suggestions that would benefit us and not always him. He definitely proved himself right.

We were immeasurably impressed at the response time from the Vonderhaar’s staff whenever we had a question leading up to the wedding. We received an email or telephone call from one of Don’s staff members or Don personally. Don was willing to meet with us numerous times to cover specifics, even during the busiest catering months. This accessibility is something that I strive for everyday in my own business.

Vonderhaar’s was also willing to work with us on budgeting extensively. Paying for our own (very large) wedding, it was necessary for us to work hard on budgeting. Not once did Vonderhaar’s blink when we decided it necessary to cut down on any particular element of the reception.

Prior to the big day, the Vonderhaar horde of staff members blanketed the hall, setting tables and everything in a way that perfectly complimented the design of the room. We were aware that Vonderhaar’s had several events on the same day, but you would not have guessed this, having seen the attention that was devoted to the setup and the event itself. The wedding was a smashing success from a catering standpoint. My mom, someone who was perhaps able to be more observant, mentioned; “Every table was cleaned off immediately, the food was served without a hiccup, and the service was impeccable.”

We worked with numerous vendors for this event, and were more impressed with Vonderhaar’s than anyone, and catering was arguably the most complicated task. We cannot thank you enough for all of your help, and know that Vonderhaar does will get an enormous recommendation from us in the future. Please feel free to give our contract info to any of your future prospective clients. We will be more than delighted to share our experience with them.

I'm happy to share our Vonderhaar experience with you. Without reservation, Vonderhaar's was our caterer of choice and when given the opportunity (we have another daughter) we will not hesitate to work with them again.

Whitney (my daughter) & Jon had 280 guests attend their reception, which was held at Lake Lyndsay Lodge. They opted for a buffet-style dinner that included prime rib and a chicken selection along with great side dishes (which were all wonderfully prepared). Vonderhaar's also provided hors d'oeuvres, the bar service (beer, wine and a champagne toast), and helped oversee the cake cutting ceremony.

We worked with Jan from the beginning and could not have been more pleased! Her attention to detail during he planning process, responsiveness to our questions, helpful suggestions, coordination on-site and, not to mention the courteous service provided by all of the Vonderhaar staff, left not only us, but all of our guests with nothing short of a positive, memorable experience. They went above and beyond to ensure we were able to relax and enjoy the reception along with our guests. There were no last-minute surprises. In other works, we felt we got exactly what they promised and then some.

I'm sure Whitney would agree there's nothing that we would have done differently. Based on our personal experience, I'm confident in saying you can't go wrong selecting Vonderhaars!

We got married September 2nd in French Park with 180 guests. Awesome location but a lil toasty of a day. My wife planned the whole event as a Cape Cod relaxing setting. You can actually google Rebecca Ruth Photography (from the UK) and see our pics.

Don and the whole Vonderhaars team was fabulous. From the cocktail hour to the dessert the service was top notch. I'm a picky Jew as is my family and I kid you not when I say the food was 5 star. We had chicken and fish that was grilled on site and it would put Mr. Ruby to the test.

Don and Jan were there the whole time to make sure everything ran smooth and it did. All of our guests commented about how wonderful and fresh everything tasted. The mashed potatoes too were phenomenal. I don't want to exaggerate but I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed Vonderhaars.
